Cast into Chaos/

AN ECLECTIC RETROSPECTIVE
A hypothetical film festival project to celebrate the films of Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. The objective is to coordinate a complex set of materials that must function together as a whole. The name Cast into Chaos encapsulates one of the most common themes of Kurosawa’s films. Themes of humanism, Japanese moral values, spirituality, masculine ideals and irony are consistently recurring motifs in these films.
